Fine Art Giclée Printing
We produce single, limited or open edition giclée prints for artists, illustrators, photographers and galleries. Giclée printing is a fine art digital printing process which offers superior colour reproduction than standard digital printers by using a wider colour gamut in the inkjet printing process. The resulting prints are sharp, vibrant and long-lasting with unrivalled colour accuracy.
We use a large format Epson printer with the Ultra-Chrome HDR nine-colour pigment ink system. Colour consistency is maintained throughout with our fully colour managed workflow. The editions are gallery quality, printed with guaranteed UV stable archival inks for longevity.
By using our Digital Artwork Reproduction service, we take the archived file of your artwork to produce your final editions. This process allows us complete control over the final print’s appearance by enabling us to fine tune the colour calibrated digital file with your choice of paper stock. Our prints are most accurate when combined with our digital reproduction service, however you may also supply your own digital file. Please note, whilst our giclée prints are always of the highest quality we cannot guarantee a true colour match when supplying your own file as we will not have the original artwork to compare against and it will not have followed our intensive colour calibration process. We provide one proof scaled to A5 on the paper of your choice prior to printing for your approval.
If you are a photographer, illustrator or digital artist, we can also produce Fine Art Giclée Prints of your work from your own files. We’re then able to securely store the print-ready file in our master archive for easy re-ordering.
Our bespoke service produces your fine art editions individually to order, scaled to any specification including borders as required. The benefit of giclée printing is the ability to print on demand, meaning we do not need to ask for minimum orders. You can purchase single or multiple editions at a time.
A choice of professional archival papers manufactured by St Cuthberts Mill and Hahnemühle is available. All papers used by Atelier Editions are hand picked, archival and acid-free. Resistant to aging, the papers we use are coated to enhance colours and produce vibrant, clear tones. We offer advice on the most suitable paper for your needs and you are welcome to look through our portfolio at examples of our work. If you wish to use a paper media not listed we are happy to discuss this.
All our Fine Art Giclée Prints come supplied with archival crystal clear sleeves for protection.

Fine Art Giclée Papers
St Cuthberts Mill Somerset Enhanced Textured 225gsm
Made in England, Somerset Enhanced Textured has a finish similar to watercolour paper. It is ideally suited to painterly work or collages as the textured surface lifts images and creates prints with a tactile feel.
St Cuthberts Mill Somerset Enhanced Satin 225gsm
Somerset Enhanced Satin in radiant white has a smoother finish than Enhanced Textured. This surface lends itself well to fine art reproductions and photography, resulting in sharp and vibrant prints.
Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm
Considered an industry standard for photographic prints and fine art reproductions, Photo Rag is one of our most popular papers. With a matt smooth finish in natural white, this paper produces prints with exceptional detail and colour.
Hahnemühle German Etching 310gsm
Featuring a distinct textured surface, German Etching is ideal for reproducing oils, acrylics, watercolours and pastels. With a velvet matt finish in warm white, this paper creates prints with vivid colours, deep blacks and optimum reproduction of detail.
Certificate of Authenticity
Each Fine Art Giclée Print is supplemented with our Certificate of Authenticity to be signed by the artist and print maker to affirm the edition is genuine. The certificate details the title of the work, artist’s name, date printed and variety of paper used. It also includes space for the edition number, where appropriate.
We provide Certificates of Authenticity for Limited or Open Edition prints. Additionally, we can design bespoke certificates including your own logo or graphic.
Mounts
Our Fine Art Giclée Prints can be supplied complete with a window mount, ready for framing or re-sale. We have a comprehensive range of mount options available. Including single or double mounts in bespoke sizes and a choice of colours.
If you would like an alternative to a traditional window mount, we also offer hand-torn deckle edges on all of the paper we stock. The result is prints which are visually beautiful with natural, feathery edges. Deckle edge prints are perfect for shadow box framing.
