Digital Artwork Reproduction
We photograph your original artwork to create a digital reproduction ready for print, using a high resolution camera and controlled lighting system. Years of technical experience allow us to bring the best out of your artwork and we can reproduce all types of art media.
We capture the finest details in the sharpest quality with our fully colour managed workflow. The digital images are shot in RAW to allow for colour correction and any additional processing required. Through specialist lighting layouts we are able to highlight the textures in your work and reduce glare in the case of varnished or glazed originals. These processes allow us to produce a match as close as possible to your original work of art.
We offer advice on the most suitable Fine Art paper to use for your work and supply a proof of the reproduction scaled to A5 for your approval. If you would like to see how your reproduction looks on additional paper stock we can also provide this.
To make re-ordering future editions quick and easy, we can securely store the print-ready digital copy of your artwork in our master file archive.
The clarity down to the smallest detail on the copy print of my collage was amazing. It was a difficult piece to photograph with lots of levels and textures but the print was so detailed even the glitter looked like the original! Very impressed.

Period Artwork Reproduction
We offer help and advice on a variety of projects, including creating digital reproductions from period paintings, etchings, engravings and archival documents. We have recently supported the Alfred East Art Gallery in such an endeavour, reproducing a selection of their Permanent Collection as Fine Art Giclée Prints for sale to the public. For more information about this project, please click here.
Our studio also provides a digital restoration and retouching service. By producing a digital reproduction of your original artwork, we are able to bring it back to life with the removal of dust, scratches and blemishes. In addition we can digitally restore the colours of your artwork, if for instance a painting has been water damaged or a poorly stored pencil sketch has begun to fade.
All material supplied must be your sole creation, in the public domain or where copyright is not infringed. Please get in touch so we can discuss your project and provide you with a quote.
